Monitoring

How and What Can be Monitored?

As technology improves and times change, many people have started moving away from the standard phone land line and going cellular or using services over the internet.

Allstar Alarm can offer various options for our customers to connect to Central Station for monitoring, they include:

  • Standard phone line
  • Cellular connection option (referred to as AlarmNet), provides additional safety by eliminating communication lines outside the house for a burglar to cut.
  • Internet connection, we can now also connect using the Voice Over Internet Protocol with high-speed internet users.

Protect Your Family

  • FLOODING:  Water Sensors can be added to your system and being set off in the event of moisture or flooding. Central Station will promptly notify the home or business owner, limiting the damage that can be caused from flooding
  • FROZEN PIPES & FIRE:  Temperature Sensors allow you to be contacted when the temperature in a facility goes below or above a certain degrees, therefore giving you an opportunity to prevent serious damage due to freezing pipes or to give warning to a potential fire in the duct work.   This sensor is ideal for a cottage or second home.
  • CARBON MONOXIDE: Did you know that proper placement, from height to room location matters?  Our highly trained staff can help educate you and identify the best location while designing your system. Let us help you ensure that your family is protected from this deadly gas before it is too late.
  • THEFT & BURGLARY:  According to the US Department of Justice, statistics in homes without an alarm are four times likely to be broken into as those that don’t.
